Summary: "A wonderful and lush book"
Susan Sully's book on Charleston is a feast. The photographs are superb, and the descriptive details are so fully realized that I felt as if I were on a private tour. From richly carved ceiling rosettes to secret gardens, this book will transport you inside the walls of grand old homes that hold enough beauty to break your heart.

Summary: "More furniture & Less Architecture"
This is a beautifully photographed book. However, the majority of the contents were focused on period funiture and landscapes. In my opinion, Architectural details were not the main theme. I purchased this book for inspiration on those details and found the variety and quantity lacking.
